About
I'm a research-focused product designer with 5 years of design experience, currently braving the cold of Toronto, Canada, but originally from the sunny shores of Accra, Ghana. With a software developer background through my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, I’ve made a seamless shift from the world of coding into the creative realm of design.
My design process is heavily influenced by the everyday physical interactions around me and also from the Japandi interior design. Japandi embraces minimalism (each item must serve a purpose) and the use of natural elements, which is an approach that speaks to me. This approach ensures that the designs I produce are not only functional, but also familiar to the user, enhancing the user experience and making adoption easy.
When I’m not designing, I spend my free time taking dance lessons, exploring maker workshop activities, and sampling food at the nearest food festival.
